Over the past six months, the Head of the Office of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, together with senior staff members, completed a series of trainings led by Mr. Daniel Bútora from the company FBE Slovensko, focused on the development of leadership and managerial competencies.
The trainings were divided into five thematic modules, each lasting one day:
Module 1: The role of a leader and leading people (22.11.2024)
Module 2: Communication and feedback (18.12.2024)
Module 3: Managing challenging situations in leadership (18.3.2025)
Module 4: Motivation of colleagues and organizational culture (27.5.2025)
Module 5: Vision, prioritization, and self-management (18.6.2025)
The aim of the trainings was to strengthen the abilities of senior staff in effective team leadership, communication, handling challenges, and building a positive organizational culture. Participants appreciated the practical approach, open discussion, and the opportunity to share experiences from everyday practice.
Feedback on the trainings was very positive, with several participants expressing interest in continuing similar development activities.
