This week continued with Module III. a successful series of trainings for institute directors of the Slovak Academy of Sciences as part of the Institute Director Development Program. This module, aimed at handling difficult situations in management, aroused the greatest interest among the participants, which was confirmed by the two-day visit of the experienced trainer, Mr. Daniel Bútora.
The participants of the training intensively devoted themselves to the analysis and solution of complex challenges that may arise in the management of the organization. They were introduced to effective methods and tools for handling criticism and constructive feedback processing. In addition, they learned how to work effectively with their own emotions and anger, which is essential for maintaining a professional attitude and a healthy work environment.
The conclusion of the training was a practical video exercise, where the participants had the opportunity to apply the acquired knowledge in simulated scenarios. This interactive part of the training was extremely valuable as it gave participants the opportunity to practice new skills in a safe and supportive environment.
