On 19 November 2025, the Slovak Academy of Sciences submitted an internal review report for the award renewal phase (Award Renewal with Site Visit), including the revised Action Plan 2025–2028. This milestone marks an important step in the Academy’s ongoing commitment to strengthening transparent, high‑quality, and internationally aligned working conditions for researchers across its institutes.
The Slovak Academy of Sciences is preparing in the coming months for the Site Visit, that is, a visit by evaluators from the European Commission.
During this visit:
external experts will assess the actual state of the implementation of the measures, they will meet with the SAS management, administrative teams, as well as the researchers themselves,
they will verify whether the processes and conditions are in line with the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
The Site Visit is a key moment that will determine whether the SAS successfully obtains the renewal of the certification.
