Employees of the SAV can join the official Facebook group “SAV Parents” created under the SAV website. The aim of the group is to bring together parents working at the Slovak Academy of Sciences and to create a communication platform for them. They can exchange opinions and experiences on how to combine parental responsibilities and scientific work, or give each other advice on various situations.
In the group it is possible to exchange tips for trips with children and various creative activities, to add good practice experiences or recommendations.
Children’s clothes, books or toys can also be given a second chance as part of an exchange or donation between colleagues.
Through this platform we hope to create a community of parents at the academy who will support each other and get to know each other.
